I am more than happy to recommend JM Construction following the excellent results delivered with our Kitchen/Diner extension. From the very first visit the service was first class. James's knowledge and imagination helped us right from the start. Fresh ideas improved upon our drawings and helping us achieve these changes whilst working within our tight budget was very satisfying. The quotation was clear, the stage payments were always for work completed and the final price was kept in budget.

The site was cleared at the end of every day. The guys on site were polite and very helpful, it felt more like having friends around. A concerted effort was made to avoid nuisance to my neighbours who also were very impressed with the service. The quality of finish was superb and I consider myself quite fussy. James has an answer for every question before it is even asked, always at least one step ahead of things. When telephoned with queries a response was always immediate. I was kept informed of the schedule and targets were always met.

I am over the moon with what we have been achieved here at the cottage and cannot recommend JM Construction enough.

During the entire 5. months that the project was on going at no time did you ever leave us unsupported, or without a kitchen facility, heating, water, electricity, and when we were away you saw to it that the house was fully secured at all stages.

Your team of craftsmen were always good natured and worked around our rather complicated life style without fuss. The quality of work done, and the problem-solving skills they applied to overcome the rather inadequate support by our other suppliers and their un fathomable instructions was quite frankly amazing.

The work involved a double storey extension plus structural work within the existing house. We particularly liked the fact that JMC made our house habitable throughout, as well as the continuity of the teams James uses - when the electricians, plumbers, groundworkers, plasterers, carpenters etc etc are due back, it is reassuring to know they will be same people rather than a string of unknown tradespeople. JMC brought the project in to time and to budget, and also offered advice at the start on ways to save costs with suggestions on our plans. In summary, we couldn’t fault the project and thoroughly recommend JMC.
